Your downward dog could make life better for a dog in need.
This Sunday, July 26th, animal lovers are invited to enjoy a session of Outdoor Yoga in Tramore Valley Park, with every cent of the €5 ticket price going to Dog Action Welfare (DAWG).
The 9.30am class will be led by Yoga Republic Cork to raise funds for the charity, so you can enjoy a lovely alfresco stretch while helping to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the city’s abused and abandoned animals.
“Attendees will need a yoga mat, towel, bottle of water and sunscreen if applicable,” say Yoga Republic. Kids are welcome to join in too.
“All proceeds from these events go directly to Cork DAWG. All teachers, practise leaders and organising costs for this event are offered on a voluntary basis. To accommodate this, please bring along €5 per person in cash or coins to donate to the charity.”
If you would like to attend, just text your full name and contact number to 0879110673.
In order to facilitate any future Covid-19 contact tracing needs, each person attending must text their details individually. For more details, check out the Yoga Republic Facebook page.
