All creatures great and small are invited to be blessed at this Cork city church

It’ll be a very well-groomed congregation
Pampered pooches are invited to a very special and adorable service in St Anne’s Church this Sunday, October 1st to take part in a pet blessing ceremony.
The sweet blessing by the Anglican church in Shannon is part of their annual four-week event dedicated to the season of creation.
For the faithful, the timing also aligns with the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Catholic patron saint of pets and animals, which takes place on October 4th.
If you love your (furry, feathery, scaly, four-legged, two-legged, or no-legged) family and you fancy attending, the Pet Blessing will take place at 10.15am.
All are welcome to attend.
