All 18 Indiependence Autumn Air gigs sell out in minutes

This is the reaction of a county that has been starved of live music for 18 months.
All 18 gigs organised by Indiependence as part of the Autumn Air sessions sold out with minutes after tickets went on sale at 9am this morning (30th July).
The intimate gigs, which will be head in venues across Mitchelstown this September, boasted acts such as The Coronas, Something Happens, The Blizzards, Bell X1, The Scratch, Wild Youth and Aslan.
The gigs are being held in lieu of the Indiependence Festival, which was cancelled for the second year in a row, due to Covid-19.
After just 26 minutes, the organisers of the gigs had tweeted: No doubt now that people can’t wait to hear live music again. “All shows at #AutumnAir are now Sold Out. Thank you to everyone who got a ticket and apologies to those who missed out, hopefully we can release a few more before Sept. Thanks to @DeptCulturelRL for the support!”

Tickets for the gigs were sold in blocs of four and six, but the organisers have said that more tickets in small blocs could become available if government guidance changes before September.
