Alert your BFFs: The Pop Up Movie Club is returning to Fota House

Calling all Cork cinephiles and outdoor enthusiasts; the PopUp Movie Club is back, gracing the stunning grounds of Fota House & Gardens with a lineup of outdoor movie magic.
First up is The Bodyguard starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner on Friday, August 30th (9pm). In case you’re unfamiliar (how?) the story focuses on a famous pop star who hires a former secret service agent as her bodyguard, but danger and romance ensue when a stalker threatens her life.
On August 31st you can catch A Star is Born starring Lady Gaga, then get ready to sing along to the iconic tunes of Mamma Mia! on Sunday, September 1st, where you can channel your inner Donna Sheridan with a girls’ night out (or a romantic date) under the stars.

It’s a lovely way to round out the summer by watching your favourite films on a giant 20ft screen, surrounded by the beauty of Fota House & Gardens.
It’s major BYOB and picnic vibes too; pack your favourite snacks and drinks, or grab a bite to eat on-site, then spread out a blanket and settle in for a truly memorable movie experience.
