Is it time to deck the halls yet?

Aldi has announced the 2020 release date for its ever-popular Wine and Prosecco Advent Calendars and it’s exactly the type of news we needed today.

Each of the 24 doors on the supermarket’s boozy Wine Advent Calendar opens to reveal a mini bottle of 10 white wines (five still, five sparkling), eight red wines and six rosé (three still, three sparkling).

Strictly for over 18s only, the adults-only calendars make a fun gift for a wine lover and they’re an excellent way to try a new vino or two whenever the mood takes you.

This year they’re also introducing a second option for customers who like a little extra fizz in their festive season; the Sparkling Advent Calendar (€78.68) contains eight mini bottles of Sparkling Pinot Grigio, eight bottles of Sparkling Rosé and eight bottles of Prosecco.

They go on sale in 144 stores nationwide from Sunday, November 1st while stocks last.
