Aldi will be selling White Ghost pumpkins this Halloween (and they start arriving very soon)

It’s time to start planning the spooky season.
And if you enjoy a bit of Halloween home decor at this time of year, Aldi is where you’ll be able to find the elusive white pumpkin, a chic, Instagram-friendly alternative to the regular orange variety.
Aldi’s Halloween Pumpkins start arriving in-store on September 24th, with the White Ghost Pumpkin retailing at €3.99.
“White pumpkins, once a novelty, are becoming increasingly common, and are very popular when it comes to chic autumn decorating.” said an Aldi spokesperson.

“Maybe it’s the ghostly way they stand out on a dark night! Or perhaps it’s the clean smoothness of their appearance, which sparks creativity!? Either way, this pumpkin is sure to be a sell-out, no doubt being snapped up for those spookily creative Instagram snaps.”
Aldi will sell over 250,000 pumpkins across its 143 stores nationwide in the lead up to Halloween this year, with 50,000 Irish grown pumpkins supplied to the supermarket by Co. Dublin-based grower Donnelly Fruit & Veg in a contract worth over €150,000 to the fresh produce business.
