Aldi is bringing its magical colour-changing gin to Cork

It’s an Instagram-worthy twist on our favourite spirit.
After huge success in Scottish stores earlier this year, Aldi has announced that it will be launching its limited-edition Forest Fruits Colour Changing Gin in Ireland – and just in time for Halloween.
The unique tipple will be available in Cork stores on October 15th, with a bottle priced at €19.99.
Characterised by its deliciously fruity notes, the unique gin sees its colour morph from a pale sapphire blue to a soft pink when tonic is added.
Here’s the science bit: “Distilled with the blue petals of the Asian butterfly flower, the PH levels naturally adjust in the gin when anything is added to it, making it completely change in colour.”
A little excitement at gin o’clock? Count us in.
