Hungry for a little more Halloween fun?
Just when you thought the spooky season had come to an end, there’s a final hurrah happening in West Cork… and it’s shaping up to be a pretty cool spectacle.
Clonakilty is celebrating Samhain with a Púca Parade, which will wind its way through the town on Sunday, November 6th as darkness falls, from around 5.30pm.
There’s an open invitation for participants to take part and creative revellers can even compete to win a very special prize. Simply build your costume and mask out of natural materials to hide yourself from the fairies.
“The celebrated Púca Prize, by local artist TP MacCurtain, will go to the most effective entry.” said the organisers.
Join the parade as it moves from Clonakilty’s Imperial Hotel to Emmet Square for a spectacular free fire show.
You can register yourself, your group, or organisation for costume judging by emailing email@example.com.
