Here’s an excellent excuse for a sweet treat.

Cork gourmet ice pop slingers Popsicle on Winthrop Street have teamed up with an important local charity for a summer fundraiser.

Beginning on Monday, July 19th, 2021, 10 cents from every popsicle sold will go to Breakthrough Cancer Research, a Cork-based cancer research charity that works to find new treatments and improve outcomes for poorer prognosis cancers.

You can swing by the Popsicle shop to pick up their delicious natural and fresh popsicles any day of the week, or find them in Fitzgerald’s Park this Saturday, July 17th when their Popsicle Tricycle will be dishing up the frosty good from 12pm to 6pm.

Flavours include Kiwi Strawberry, Bubblegum and Cookies and Cream, with every pop handmade in Cork and containing nothing artificial, just real fruit.
