It’s not what you’d expect to find inside an electrical store.
But the pretty Garden Café has now reopened for take out breakfast, brunch and lunch at Dwyers Electrical Super Store on Forge Hill.
Now under new management (Ed O’Leary of The Good Room and Live at St Luke’s is at the helm), coffee is by Red Strand, roasted in Clonakilty, and there’s a tasty new menu packed with local treats such as Ballycotton seafood chowder as well as a mouthwatering list of summer salads and soups.
You can order your doorstep sandwich on Arbutus sourdough or O’Keefe’s thick-cut bread, slathered in Ballymaloe Relish if you fancy it… and don’t forget a slice of peanut and caramel tart for afters.
