A pop-up Supper Club is bringing a surprise menu to Kinsale and Fermoy

There aren’t many surprises once you hit adulthood.
But if you’re happy to relinquish control and take off on a gastronomic adventure for dinner, a travelling Supper Club might be just what you need to restore some wonder and curiosity to your life.
Chef Steve Mercer, well known in foodie circles for his work at the helm of the kitchen in Ballyvolane House near Fermoy, has set out solo, opening The Oven, his own vegetarian food truck based on the quays in Clonmel and running private catering and pop-up events.
His next Supper Clubs will be taking place at Marnie and Lily’s Kinsale wine shop on September 23rd and at The Heron Café in Fermoy on September 29th, 2023.
“It is a surprise five-course vegetarian menu all with wine pairing,” Steve told Yay Cork.

“Menu hints will be released on social media over the next few weeks in the lead-up. Tickets are €90 a head and booking is simply by messaging me online.”
