Everyone loves a farmer’s market.
And now Southsiders can stroll down to their very own local version every Sunday from 10am until 2pm.
The first-ever Ballyphehane Farmer’s Market was held in the car park of the Community Centre on Tory Top Road over the weekend, with many of the stalls selling out by noon.
After the success of the soft launch, stallholders are preparing for a busy Christmas season in the coming weeks.
Gem’s Coffee will be serving Badger & Dodo blends to sip while you browse the stalls for brunch or lunch, with a choice of goodies available, from
Brendan’s Burritos to Hisham’s addictive cinnamon rolls and healthy middle Eastern dishes.
You can pick up Italian sweets, fresh pasta and pizza, kebabs and farm-fresh eggs to take home too, as well as hot doughnuts and cute crafts from local makers.
“Our stalls will be well-stocked next Sunday and no fear of selling out at 12pm!” the organisers said on social media.
“We can’t wait to see you all next Sunday with several new stalls and of course captivating coffee, mind-blowing burritos, dunkin Italian doughnuts, exceptional eggs and Christmas crafts!”
More stallholders will be added in the coming weeks so keep an eye on the Ballyphehane Farmer’s Market Facebook page for regular updates.
