A new pop-up beach volleyball court just opened at Cork’s Marina Park

It will be open for one week.
A beach volleyball court has been installed at Cork’s Marina Park, offering kids of all ages the opportunity to try a new sport for free.
In celebration of National Play Day, Cork City Council, Cork Sports Partnership and Let’s Play Cork will open up The Marina Park for Beach Volleyball Play from Friday, July 7th to Friday, July 14th, 2023.
Located next to Central Hall in the Marina Park on Monaghan Road, the sand-based volleyball court will host open lessons for kids on July 10th and 11th from 11am to 12pm, while the court will be used by groups such as the Volleywood Stars Social Group for an hour in the evenings.
