If you like weird collage art and surreal animations, head for this Shandon gallery later

The fun begins at 6pm.
Cork-based Brazilian artist Silvio Severino AKA loop_conspiracy unveils his latest exhibition this evening, Thursday, July 6th at The Laneway Gallery in Shandon.
An active member of the international collage community, Severino’s work has been published in blogs, magazines, and books, and locally he has created posters and trailers for the Indie Cork Film Festival and Pride.
In Bambis, Slugs and Other Cosmonauts, Severino, using found photography and assembly images in both analogue and digital format, “explores the online landscape of social media, sexuality, consumerism, and popular music” with a surreal sense of humour.
