A new late-night Turkish-inspired patisserie is opening on North Main Street

There’s about to be a new addition to Cork’s early morning/late night scene.
Boname Patisserie will open at 92 North Main Street in March, bringing a range of fresh Turkish breakfast dishes, toasties, pastries, cakes, and of course, baklava to the area.
The café, which will also serve coffee, matcha, cold drinks, Turkish coffee and tea, will be open from 7am in the morning to 11pm at night, offering both a cosy breakfast spot and a late-night treat and caffeine destination.
Owner Hasan Solmaz came to Ireland as a student at University College Cork (UCC), where he studied psychology. During his time in Ireland, he developed a strong connection to the country and decided to make Cork his permanent home.
