A new family-friendly kids’ parkrun is starting in Togher on Sunday mornings

Registration just opened.
Cork Sports Partnership, Cork City Council, and Parkrun Ireland have announced a new junior parkrun in Togher, starting on Sunday, August 27th, 2023.
The venue on the Clashduv Road will be officially known as Clashduv Junior Parkrun and runners from four to 14 years of age are invited to gather from 9.30am to take part every week.
It’s all free too so everyone can join in and parents are encouraged to walk or run the 5km with their children if they wish.

Parkrun is a free, weekly, timed run, a worldwide concept, and is rapidly growing here in Ireland. The Togher Parkrun is seeking volunteers to help keep things ticking along and you can email clashduvjuniors@parkrun.com if you’d like to add your name to the list.
Every week the group will grab a post-parkrun coffee at Lough Cafe on the Lough Road so it’s a great way to make new mates and meet local families if you’re new to the area.
