A new Cupping Club is inviting baristas and civilian coffee fans to a monthly get-together
Just bring a bag of coffee and you’re in.
Cork’s coffee making and coffee drinking community are getting together once a month to compare notes and learn more about different beans and blends.
The Cupping Club will meet on the third Saturday of every month in cafes all across the city.
“These events are open to anyone who wants to learn more about and taste different coffee, learning from professionals all across the city and country.” say the organisers.
“Whether you’re a barista or just a morning coffee drinker, all are welcome to learn and mingle! There will be a few special guests scattered on different dates, and some really amazing coffee.”

The timing has been carefully planned to suit Cork’s café workers.
“The cuppings will be on at 6pm, the third Saturday of every month, just after you finish your Saturday rush, and before your Saturday pints! I encourage people to bring at least one bag of coffee to add to the cupping table, but if you can’t that’s okay too.”
