A luxury Irish childrenswear brand is planning a pop-up at a Cork 5-star hotel

Their handstitched outfits are “made to pass on from generation to generation”.
Now the businesswomen behind luxury Irish childrenswear brand Darcybow are coming to Cork to host a bespoke personal styling and fitting day at the Castlemartyr Resort.
The Darcy Days Out event for parents and little girls will take place at the hotel on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd, 2021.
Designed for kids aged between 3-10, founders Triona Spellman and Edelle Mellett will be bringing two collections to choose from, with designs ranging from classic white dresses for communions and flower girl duties, to classic style dresses in teals, navy and ruby shades.
Be warned; each piece is custom made and this level of bespoke tailoring is not cheap, even when the clients are children.
Prices start at €120 for a dress and €160 for a cape from the Enchanted Everyday Collection, while the Once in a Lifetime Collection features shoes from €69 and dresses ranging from €150 all the way up to €425.
However, affordable bows, berets and luxury hosiery will also be available – ideal for updating hand-me-downs and repurposing older outfits for Christmas and other events.
“The fun fashion days encourage parents to bring their little one along for a special day of fashion, fun and fittings for occasion wear suitable for communions, birthdays and days out.” a spokesperson for the brand told Yay Cork.
“The stunning pieces are 100% designed and made in Ireland and are inspired by classical children’s clothing which doesn’t date and has a luxurious feel to it.”
