We love a bit of leopard print.
And one Cork boutique owner is giving us heaps of the maximalist trend to choose from this autumn, having launched her very own label, with each piece carefully tailored to the tastes of Cork’s fashionistas.
Created by Maeve Dennehy of Love Cherish Boutique in Charleville, the Love Molly collection aims to “bring the comfort factor that we grew to love in lockdown into everyday dressing”.
Launched today with the website going live at 6pm this evening for the first orders, key pieces include a selection of flattering knits, a sharp two-piece suit in beige and emerald green and two casual and comfy animal-print dresses that can easily be dressed up or down with the addition of heels or trainers.
‘I wanted to take the stress out of dressing’
Over the course of lockdown, when most businesses were struggling to exist, Love Cherish experienced huge growth. So much so that the business outgrew not one but two warehouses. It was during this time that Maeve saw a gap in the market and turned a challenging time into an exciting opportunity.
Having tuned into her customer’s needs, Maeve studied years of feedback regarding size, fit, shape, size, and detail and used this information to put together a wardrobe of items designed to ‘mix and match’ pieces.
Love Molly comes in sizes eight to 18 and the price range is a very tempting €20 – €79.
“Even though I was presented with a few white label/collaboration opportunities, I wanted to create my own collection from scratch,” Maeve told Yay Cork.
“I understood the needs of my customers and I really wanted to do something for them that would take the stress out of dressing.”
Created with the support of Morris Fashion Consultancy, the collection will be sold exclusively at Love Cherish in-store from Tuesday and online this evening from 6pm at ohmolly.ie.
