A look inside Cork’s newest pub: Conway’s Yard

When will you be making your first visit?
In amongst the raft of pubs reopening their outdoor areas this week, Conway’s Yard became Cork’s newest pub — opening its doors for the first time on Oliver Plunkett St, on the site that used to be The Grafton.
In case you haven’t had the chance to visit yet, the Conway’s Yard Instagram has some snaps of what you’re missing, and we must say… it looks fairly class.

The decor is unique, featuring a lot of Greek-style columns, as well as small hanging gardens and rustic furniture.
It also looks like an ideal spot for soccer fans, boasting big television screens on which they will be broadcasting every match of the Euros, which kick off tonight.
The bar has specified that “for now” they are only serving walk-ins, but they are in the process of setting up an online booking system.
