A frighteningly good Halloween cocktail list lurks on MacCurtain Street

There’s always something brewing at Cask.
And this spooky season, Cork’s cocktail connoisseurs have been dancing around the cauldron again, conjuring up a terrifyingly tasty list of wild and wacky drinks for autumn.
This year, they’ve put together a ‘greatest hits’ tribute to Halloween drinks menus past, resurrecting some of their best concoctions, including:
- The Pumpkin: Dingle Vodka, pumpkin, marigold, Perlage Prosecco, Cocci Americano Vermouth €13
- Children of the Corn: Teeling Single Malt, corn ice cream, PX Sherry, tonka €13
- Sprites & Goblins: Plantation Pineapple, Killahora Pom’o, carrot, creole shrubb, egg €13
- Blood & Bandage: Glendalough Wild Botanical Gin, Montelobos Mezcal, Vermut Lustau, Verjus, elderberry €13
The first step to avoiding a frightening hangover is to get your soakage sorted before you hit the cocktail list, so nab a table for a casual lunch or dinner first.

There’s a lovely butternut squash red curry on the menu, topped with toasted pumpkin seeds for a seasonal crunch, and an Apple Panna for dessert; a warming cinnamon panna cotta with caramelised apples, coconut crumble and apple and Żubrówka Bison Grass Vodka gel.
