The Euromillions Plus prize of €500,000 has been won by a player in Cork.

While nobody scooped the €68m Euromillions jackpot, thousands of lucky players nabbed smaller prizes and one lucky Cork person is waking up half a million euro richer this morning.

The news was announced by the lottery HQ last night and although the location of the shop that sold the ticket has not been revealed, it was definitely sold on Leeside.

The numbers drawn in the January 19th draw were 25, 27, 31, 35, 43 (lucky stars: 5 and 6). The winning numbers in the Ireland-only Plus draw were 2, 9, 15, 23 and 46.
