A Cork pub is luring customers with free SWEETIE BOARDS on Fridays

We’ll do anything for a Curly Wurly.
That’s why, at the end of a long week, you’ll probably find us at the bar in The Liberty, where manager Tristan Cunningham’s cunning plan to lure people in the door is working out a treat.
The South Main Street bar is putting a bit of the fun back into Friday drinks by laying on a nostalgic after-work sweetie and snack board to help everyone unwind – completely free of charge.
“With all the doom and gloom of January, we just wanted to add a bit of levity and bring a smile to our customers,” says Cunningham.
“When we started last Friday, everyone got a real kick out of it. Who doesn’t enjoy a Curly Wurly, some Celebrations or Refreshers, and some tasty nachos and dip?”
Dinner of champions, that is.
If you’d prefer something a little more grown up, you can make your way upstairs to Resistance Cocktail bar for some complimentary olives and specially prepared nibbles, while unwinding with a craft cocktail.
The Liberty Bar at 92 South Main Street is open from 4pm on Fridays.
