Looking for a unique spot to say ‘I do’?

Forget the stuffy function rooms and dusty churches, lovebirds! A Cork garden centre just hosted its first wedding, and from the sounds of it, it was an absolute fairytale.

The Pavilion Garden Centre in Ballygarvan transformed into a stunning wedding venue on Thursday, with the happy couple tying the knot in front of the garden centre’s enormous greenhouse, surrounded by lush greenery and exotic specimen plants.

Guests sipped Champagne among the olive trees, bay laurels and Japanese maples and the tables in the elegant Glasshouse restaurant were festooned with rustic wildflowers and flickering candles for an atmospheric celebration dinner afterwards.

“Yesterday was a very special day here at The Pavilion as we had the honour of hosting our very first wedding!” the Pavilion team posted on social media.
