A Cork café is selling A Vegan Christmas Survival Kit

It’s not easy being vegan.
Family get togethers can be especially tricky – whether you’re the only non meat-eater at the table or you’re catering for plant-based guests for the first time.
Now a Cork café has come up with a simple solution; My Goodness, the vegan eatery in Cork’s English Market, is selling a Vegan Christmas Survival Kit containing a wealth of delicious plant-based goodies to get you through any occasion.
Part of the My Goodness take-home Christmas Menu for 2019, The Vegan Survival Kit contains a whopping €70 worth of food for a very reasonable €50.
The kit includes:
- Studded Almond Walnut Shitake Loaf
- Sprouted Seed Crackers
- 3 X Pates (Herbed, Smoky Sundried Tomato and Mushroom Walnut)
- Notcho Cheeze
- Local salad leaves
- Kombucha Vinaigrette
- Spiced Apple & Ginger Kombucha
- Raw Vegan Snickers Bar
- 2 X Superfood Fudge
- 2 X Salted Caramel Fudge
- PLUS: A gift voucher for a free kefir refill and a My Goodness bag.
For plant-based eaters it’s a handy way to stock the kitchen with tasty treats, meals and snacks for the Christmas holidays.
For the non-vegan host it’s basically an ingenious cheat for impressing your vegan guests with interesting and thoughtful meals and sweet treats.
You can also pick up raw vegan mince pies, a sauerkraut gift pack and a Tex Mex Party Platter in store, as well as a tasty Kimchi Bloody Mary Mix that’s just the ticket on Christmas morning.
Posting the Vegan Kit offer on Facebook. the My Goodness crew said: “We figure that at this time of year, there’s enough price gouging going on elsewhere. We want to make good food affordable, and easy. As we make everything by hand, we only have a limited amount of each product, so be sure to order early to avoid disappointment.”
You can place your order at The English Market shop or through Facebook messages here.
