This adorable new coffee dock hosts pop-up Pilates classes on the grass

The location is a dreamy one for a summer spin.
And once you get to the Driftwood Cafe in East Ferry, there are loads of reasons to stick around.
The new weekend coffee spot, run by Stephen Reardon and his daughter Claragh, is nestled in a lovely waterside spot, where you can stretch your legs and walk the dog before grabbing a caffeine fix, a puppichino and a snack from the counter.
But there’s more; this summer, you can enjoy a workout on the grass on Friday and Saturday mornings.
There’s Friday Pop-up Pilates at Drifwood Coffee from 9.30am-10.15am (€12 – DM East Cork Pilates to book) and weekly classes with Fitness Freaks’ Carol O’Brien, who hosts Power and Flow there this Saturday, June 6th.

“We chose the location as we are from the locality ourselves and wanted to share the lovely Saleen Creek with others and offer a community meeting spot,” told Yay Cork.
Afterwards, you can sit in the sunshine with a cold drink or a brew and take in the views or treat yourself to a slab of carrot cake or a caramel slice.
Driftwood Coffee is now open Friday to Sunday, 10am-5pm, L3629 Bawnard West, in Midleton.
