Ladbrokes has revealed that one of their customers on Leeside correctly predicted the outcome of seven results across Europe on Sunday afternoon, starting with the three away wins in the 2pm Premier League games (Chelsea, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest), and finishing with FC Cluj at 6pm in the Romanian Liga I.

Remarkably, the ambitious acca landed with relative ease, with all seven sides winning by at least two goals (six winning away from home), despite Nottingham Forest (10/3), Aston Villa (23/10) and FC Cluj (29/10) all being outsiders.

“The only notable drama came in Spain, where hosts Real Sociedad were down to 10-men going into the second-half, 1-0 up against Celta Vigo. Celta Vigo managed a 72nd minute equaliser to add a layer of nerves to the seven-fold, before Sociedad went on to win the game 3-1 – despite playing with 10.” said a spokesperson.
