The Galentine’s Guide: Gather your BFFs for brunch, beading or bottomless mimosas

By Yay Cork January 26, 2026

Here come the girls.

Valentine’s is cute and all but whether you’re single, taken or just more excited about seeing your group chat in real life, Galentine’s is your excuse to gather the BFFs and make a proper day (or night) of it.

From bottomless mimosas and big brunch energy to crafty beading sessions and late-afternoon boogies, this Galentine’s Guide rounds up the best ways to celebrate friendship, fun and doing something a little more memorable than another “fancy dinner”.

Gather the gang — your plans are officially sorted.

1. Galentine’s Brunch at Sophie’s Rooftop

Sophie’s Cork is hosting a Galentine’s rooftop brunch on February 7th, serving up DJ throwbacks, skyline views and a feel-good afternoon to kick off the weekend. Priced at €55 per person, tickets include a signature cocktail on arrival and a two-course brunch with crowd-pleasers like ricotta and strawberry crêpes, poached eggs with prosciutto and a classic tiramisu to finish, alongside rooftop cocktails and disco energy.

With limited tickets available, guests are encouraged to book together to guarantee group seating for this three-hour Galentine’s celebration.
