Somebody stole something special from a Cork city wine bar over the weekend

We’ve all done something a little silly after a few glasses of very good wine. But if you woke up this morning with a pang of regret after visiting MacCurtain Wine Cellar over the weekend, now is the time to put it right.
The owners of the popular Cork city wine bar took to social media to share that somebody stole a sentimental piece of decor from their premises on Saturday.
Trudy Ahern and Sean Gargano noticed that one of their wooden wine box lids was missing from a display near the loo.
“These wine boxes have adorned the bathroom door since we opened. They came from Sean’s Auntie’s house after she passed away.” the couple shared on Instagram.

“Yesterday someone made the very uncool decision to pry one off and steal it. We’d like it back. No questions asked.”
If you don’t fancy owning up, you could always get yourself a decent box and send it back by post.
