Tóg go Bog é with a deep rest Yoga workshop on Carey’s Lane

Need an excuse to slow right down for a sec’?
Tóg go Bog é is an immersive experience of deep rest and nourishment happening at Cork Lotus Yoga on Carey’s Lane in Cork City on Sunday, October 12th.
“As we move into the darker half of our year, this workshop is designed to honour and embody the yin season.” says host Shelly O’Connor, an IACAT accredited art therapist and 600hr Yoga teacher.
“Tóg go bog é is one of my favourite Irish phrases. Directly translated, it means “take it softly”.
“We will open with the experience of ceremonial cacao, a gentle plant medicine with an abundance of holistic benefits; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. This will ground us and support us to access a state of flow and ease.

“The practice of yin yoga will focus on surrender and release as we embody the power of moving slowly and deeply inward. The workshop will close with a gently guided creative exploration of insights that emerge when we take the time to tóg go bog é.”
The workshop, which runs from 4pm to 6.30pm, costs €45 per person and booking is open now here.
