4 lovely local Gaza fundraising events to go along to in July

Every euro you give saves lives.
Right now, vital causes are working tirelessly on the ground in Gaza, facing immense challenges to deliver aid.
This month, several Cork businesses are stepping up to host crucial fundraising events, offering you a direct way to make an immediate, tangible difference.
An Open Mic at Tom Barry’s
Up on Barrack Street, Tom Barry’s is hosting an Open Mic for Palestine on Thursday, July 24th at 8.30pm. The organisers are planning a night of music, poetry, and spoken word to raise funds for the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF).
“The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is worsening by the day.” say the organisers.
“Thousands of children are in desperate need of medical care, food, clean water, and psychological support. The PCRF is a non-political, non-profit organisation that has been providing urgent aid to Palestinian children for over 30 years — and right now, they need our help more than ever.”
“If you can’t make it on the night, or would like to support from afar, you can donate directly through this page.” the added.
