An Infrared Hot Pilates studio is opening in Cork this summer

It’s all the rage in the USA.
Now fitness fans in Cork will be able to try infrared hot Pilates when a brand new studio opens in Douglas this summer.
The exact location of Solis Studio, Cork City’s very first infrared hot Pilates studio, will be announced soon. The HQ will feature two dedicated rooms: one for reformer Pilates and another hot studio offering hot mat classes and hot yoga.
“But what makes us truly unique is the use of infrared heat.” explains owner and founder Mai Armitage-Pryce.
“This cutting-edge technology penetrates deep into your muscles, promoting increased circulation, enhanced flexibility, better muscle recovery, and more effective calorie burning. Plus, it helps detoxify the body and alleviate muscle and joint pain.”
After sufferring a spinal injury in her teens, Mai discovered Pilates as a powerful tool for rehab, strength-building, and mindfulness: “I’ve been teaching Pilates alongside a career in Investment Management and now I’m excited to transition into managing Solis full-time. I firmly believe that a healthy body is the foundation for a healthy mind.” she added.

“As an expat in Cork, building a sense of community is at the heart of Solis. I’m excited to host regular socials to connect with others, both in and out of the studio.
“Solis Studio isn’t just a pilates studio to me — it’s a place to slow down, focus on your health, and improve your overall well-being.”
Solis Studio will also hosting regular wellness events so keep an eye on their socials for updates.
