Grab a coffee, pet an alpaca and watch Santa arrive by boat at Reen Pier

Santa is full of surprises.
In fact, this year you can watch him arrive by boat at a free day of fun on a scenic pier in West Cork.
Down in Reen, West Cork, there’s an unconventional Christmas day out planned this Sunday, December 15th, with musicians and face painters booked to entertain the crowds as they wait for Mr and Mrs Claus to make their grand entrance across the water.
The fun will run from 1pm until 3pm and visitors will also have a chance to meet some stunning West Cork alpacas from Seaside Alpacas in Union Hall.

“Santa and Mrs Claus will be joining us at Reen pier once again traveling by boat. They will then be coming on land to meet and greet all the little boys and girls.” the Coffee Cup crew, who organised the day out, announced.
“We will of course have our coffee trailer going so plenty of coffees, hot chocolates, food and goodies for the whole family.”
If you’re feeling brave and fancy a dip, you can warm yourself afterwards in the wood-fired barrel sauna overlooking the inlet – you may even spot Santa travelling across the waves during your session.
