People are weak for this talented Cork barman’s singing-while-serving skills

They’re never short of singers down in DeBarra’s.
But now the famous West Cork folk club and bar has added another string to its bow; even the bar man gives a blast of a tune now and again… and he doesn’t spill a drop or miss an order while he’s singing.
A video of talented Evan Crowley was shared thousands of times over the weekend after a customer captured the Clonakilty barman pouring pints behind the bar while singing a gorgeous Irish song called Dear Old Skibbereen.

The clip was shot by Rebecca Hayes and originally shared on her TikTok @receommended_by_becky. Word has it that Evan will soon be sharing his music on his own TikTok.
Fans praised Evan for his ‘cool as a breeze’ performance and beautiful voice.
“I think De Barras pub will need to give him a raise!” Rebecca posted in the comments.
‘The Carnegie Hall of Cork’
West Cork’s iconic DeBarra’s bar was recently listed as the fourth-best spot to enjoy live music in the world.
The family-run Pearse Street pub started its dedicated ‘folk club’ in 1983 after piper Paddy Keenan and some other local musicians, including Noel Redding had started to play there occasionally.
The Lonely Planet editors describe the pub as the Carnegie Hall of Cork, saying “with walls splattered with photos and press cuttings, dramatic masks and musical instruments – this Clonakilty stalwart is one of Ireland’s top spots to listen to traditional Irish folk music, with a perfectly poured pint in your hand.”
