This café is opening late to serve EPIC hot chocolates for the Christmas Parade

Form an orderly queue.
If you’re heading into town for the Christmas Parade on Friday evening, one City Centre coffee shop has a special treat in-store.
The Grumpy Bakers on Washington Street has decided to stay open a little later than usual to serve delicious hot chocolates – just the thing to keep hands toasty while you wait for the action on the street.
Grumpy Bakers will be serving their decadent O’Connaills Hote Chocolates with a dollop of fresh cream and topping each one with their homemade marshmallows.
They’ll be open from 7.30am until 7.30pm on Friday, November 15th. It’s also an excellent excuse to try their frankly unbelievable S’mores Danish:

What’s the parade route?
If you want to catch the entire production, find your viewing spot on North Main Street before the Corkmas Parade starts at 6.30pm this Friday, November 15th. The Parade will be led by the iconic Barrack Street Band.
The procession will begin on North Main Street and will make its way onto Washington Street and the Grand Parade, before heading to St. Patrick’s Street where the main parade will finish.
Santa and his friends will continue to MacCurtain Street where Santa will be whisked away with a Garda escort to assist his swift return to his worldwide preparations at the North Pole.
