Cork’s newest city sauna is in a pub beer garden (with supreme festival vibes)

Pub culture is changing.
And if you’d like to see an example of how clever bars are adapting and evolving to keep up, look to Rosie Madison on the Bandon Road.
Nestled unexpectedly within their beer garden is the city’s newest sauna, offering a unique experience that blends relaxation and supreme festival vibes with the usual post-work pint routine.
As well as a Champagne bar, pints and cocktails inside, the 98 Street Sauna invites visitors to ‘chill out, cool down and socialise’ out the back. It’s the perfect activity to plan with mates at the weekend, whether you stay for coffees or drinks afterwards or not.

The urban retreat features a wood-fired sauna, an ice bath for cold plunge enthusiasts, and a tropical rain shower for those who prefer a gentler cool-down.
There’s even a hair dryer, so you can hit the town immediately after lolling about in the sauna and cold plunge tubs for an hour.
Keep an eye on their socials for upcoming yoga and sauna events at the venue, but in the meantime, a 45-minute session is €15 (Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays) and you can book in here.
