For calm creators, this Japanese arts workshop is a zen AF afternoon

If you like petals and tiny poems, this one is for you.
A practical workshop entitled The Wisdom of Japanese Arts – Ikebana & Haiku is taking place in town this Saturday, June 15th (3pm to 5pm) and tickets are selling super fast.
“Japanese culture explored the idea of beauty in many ways but the art forms of ikebana (flower arrangement) and Haiku (poetry) are two of the most cherished.” say the organisers.
This Saturday’s class takes place at New Acropolis Ireland, a branch of an international non-profit organisation focused on education and personal development, at No. 31 Parnell Place.
Participants will get to explore these ancient disciplines in a fun and interactive way with theory and practice. Plus, everyone goes home with their very own ikebana and Haiku at the end.
Places are limited and each €15 ticket includes an optional vase for your flower arrangement. Children aged between 6-12 years old can also participate with their parent/guardian at no extra charge (max two kids per adult).
Tickets are disappearing fast so book your spot now here.
