Get ready to dust off your skates.

Cork’s first outdoor Roller Disco party is hitting the Central Hall in Marina Park this Saturday, June 15th.

This epic evening event is being thrown by Cork City Council with the help of the Cork Sports Partnership, Let’s Play Cork, and the Cork Figure Skating Association as part of Cruinniú na nÓg in Cork which will see more than 40 free events taking place multiple venues across the city.

Whether you’re a seasoned skater or haven’t strapped on some boots since your childhood, this is the perfect night to get your groove on.

The whole thing kicks off at 7pm and rolls on until 9pm, with local DJs on the decks. It’s recommended for folks aged 12 and up, so grab your mates and your mum and dad and get ready to relive your roller boogie dreams.

This is a totally free event, so all you need to bring is your sense of fun, some wheels, and maybe a few euro for some snacks (because roller disco definitely works up an appetite!).

Cork Figure Skating Association will be doing demonstrations too if you need some help remembering how to skate.
