Swing by this Glanmire Christmas Carol evening for nostalgic festive vibes

You don’t have to be religious to get the vibe.
And if there is one thing that’s guaranteed to lift the spirits at this time of year, it’s hearing the building harmonies of age-old hymns and Christmas carols.
There’s something just so nostalgic and emotional about it all and there’s no better place to listen to these melodies than in a church, with its natural reverb and high ceilings.
St Joseph’s Church in Glanmire is hosting a free Christmas Carol Service this week, presented by St Joseph’s Church Choir under the direction of Margaret Tobin, and St Mary and the All Saints church.
The evening will conclude with an invitation to enjoy teas and coffees in the local parish centre afterwards, so if you are new to the area, this would also be a perfect opportunity to get to know your neighbours.
The Christmas Carol Service will take place on Sunday, December 10th at 7pm in St Joseph’s Church in Glanmore.
All are welcome to go along and entry is free.
