Dara O’Briain announces three Cork shows for January

God knows we need a laugh.
Beloved Irish comedian and Mock The Week host Dara O’Briain has announced three Cork dates as part of his upcoming Irish tour.
O’Briain finished up his most recent tour, Voice of Reason, in March of 2020, conveniently at the same time as all live performances stopped worldwide for a very long time.
The preview of O’Briain’s new show reads: “Dara will hardly mention the last year and a half, because, Jesus, who wants to hear about that, but will instead fire out the usual mix of stories, one-liners, audience messing, and tripping over his words because he is talking too quickly, because he’s so giddy to be back in front of a crowd.”
His latest show, titled So… Where Were We, will begin touring in Dublin’s Vicar St. venue on November 10th before making its way to Cork in January 2022.
The funnyman will play three nights in Cork Opera House on January 20th, 21st and 22nd. He’ll also be doing a gig in Killarney on January 29th at the INEC.
Tickets are on sale now from the Cork Opera House website and cost €32.
