Weather for the next few days set to be QUITE unpleasant

Hail. Thunderstorms. Floods.
Summer has ended all too abruptly this year, it seems, with Met Éireann’s latest regional forecast for Munster bearing very little good news whatsoever.
As you might already be seeing, depending on where you are, Monday will bring some heavy showers in the west along with the chance of localised hail, thunderstorms and spot flooding.
Tomorrow won’t be much better, as Met Éireann’s forecast heralds more thundery showers and few moments of bright, clear weather. Temperatures will be lower than today too, with highs of between 11 and 14 degrees.
Wednesday morning won’t be so bad, starting off with dry and sunny spells, but it too will deteriorate before long into cloud and persistent rain pushing into the west by evening, leading into a wet and blustery night with heavy bursts of rain.
If you expected better from Thursday, we’re afraid to disappoint you yet again. Met Éireann is forecasting “hazy sunny spells and scattered showers in the morning, however a spell of more persistent and occasionally heavy rain will extend from the west during the afternoon.”
The rain is expected to clear somewhat in the evening, but by that point we’ll probably already all be drenched.
