Good news, Halloweenies: Leap’s spooky Scarecrow Festival IS returning for autumn 2021

Last year’s event had to be cancelled because of Covid.
But it looks like Leap’s annual Scarecrow Festival is back in business for 2021 after organisers teased the exciting news on social media.
Here’s what we know so far; the autumn celebration of all things spooky will return in October, with more details set to be released in the coming weeks.

If you’ve never attended, the Leap Scarecrow Festival sees local businesses and residents go all out on their Halloween decor, building life-sized (and much larger) scarecrows and monsters designed to lurk in almost every nook and cranny in the village throughout the month.
The perfect day of Halloween-themed family fun, you can spin down for a stroll around, grab lunch at Ger’s Wild Atlantic Diner or pizza and a pint from Connolly’s of Leap and soak up the harvest atmosphere.

Entry is free and there are prizes in a variety of categories. For regular updates, check out the Leap Scarecrow Festival Facebook page.
