If you’re a foodie hoping to move to West Cork, this could be your dream job

By Yay Cork July 27, 2026

There’s been queues out the door since they opened.

And as Mark and Sadie Jenning’s new bakery and café Harnen of Leap settles into the swing of regular service, they’ve put a call out for new members to join their team.

As some of their staff head back to college at the end of August, the buzzy eatery has openings for an assistant manager and counter servers.

Working daytime hours and being surrounded by local produce, Irish suppliers and a passionate, creative and caring team, the lucky candidates will enjoy a four-day work week, living wage, staff meal, staff discounts and lots of tasty treats.

“Do you live locally or are you looking to make the move to West Cork?” they posted on Instagram.

“We look forward to hearing from you! CVs and cover letters to Sadie at harnenofleap@gmail.com.”
