Cork’s best gelato shop has reopened for takeout (just in time for World Nutella Day)
It’s been another long week.
And if an extra special sweet treat is in order once you clock off this weekend, there’s some excellent news on that front over on George’s Quay.
Casanova Gelato is throwing open the doors once again today, reopening the riverside parlour just in time for World Nutella Day, February 5th, 2021.
The hazelnut spread has had its very own day since 2007, during which Ferrero calls on fans to “start the celebration and share the love”.
To mark the occasion on Leeside, Casanova will be selling a Nutella Special Cup; two scoops of their decadent gelato, one dollop of Nutella, hot chocolate sauce, fresh cream and a crunchy topping.

Provided you live within 5km of the shop, it’s the perfect excuse for a stroll today. Drop by for your Nutella fix from 1pm to 7.30pm.
