Venturing into town today?

As Phase Three begins and the new normal kicks into gear across the city, you can avail of two hours of free parking during your hair appointment or lunch date.

Cork City Council’s two car parks will be offering 120 minutes gratis starting today, Monday, June 29th, 2020 until the end of August.

Motorists can avail of two hours free parking at North Main Street and Paul St multi-storey car parks, which boast over 900 parking spaces between both sites.

“There is a body of work underway to support the reopening of the city.” said cork City Council Director of Operations, David Joyce.

“We have been working hard with our partners to create safe and people-friendly spaces in the city. Cork City Council wants to support those shopping and visiting some of our city-centre attractions that are re-opening and so, from Monday, the first two hours of parking at Paul St and North Main St car parks will be free from Monday to Sunday. Normal charges will apply after two hours”.

This parking promotion will continue until August 31st, 2020.
