Normal service is resuming around the city.

With everyone up to date on the necessary hygiene and safety precautions that need to be taken in the coming months, all the extra-curricular activities we missed during lockdown are back on the agenda.

And not a moment too soon.

If a weekly game of football with your mates is something you’re looking forward to, there’s good news on that front today; LeisureWorld is re-opening its Bishopstown pitches on Monday, June 29th.

The floodlit all-weather astroturf pitches can be reserved for five-a-side or six-a-side games of soccer, with free parking as well as changing and shower facilities.

The cost is €60 per hour from Monday to Thursday (6.30pm-9.30pm) and €48 per hour at all other times. Call 021 4346505 or visit the website to reserve a pitch.

Don’t forget to warm up before kick-off, your skills might be a little rusty after months in lockdown.
