Kids spend all day with baby animals at this adorable farm summer camp

We just wish they had places for grown-ups.
One Cork summer camp is offering little campers the chance to spend all day helping out with fun farming activities, from bottle feeding baby animals to collecting fresh eggs from the hens every morning.
Suitable for kids aged over three years old, Tir an Sí in Watergrasshill is running a weekly summer camp starting on June 22nd and running right up until September – just the thing for enticing your children away from their screens after weeks in lockdown.
Kids will be kept busy with animal petting, train and pony rides around the property, gardening workshops, crazy golf and games at the outdoor playground.
Everything takes place outside, with covered outdoor areas available for the summer camp groups in the event of rain.

At €85 per week, including a packed lunch (check out their Facebook feed for the next available dates or call 021 488 94 31) the programme is designed to “provide a safe environment for children to socialise and have fun while engaging in a range of outdoor activities”.
In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, two time slots are available, 8.30am- 1pm and 9am – 1.30pm.
