Busy this Saturday?

No, thought not. But now you can put 7.30pm in your schedule; Cork Dog Action Welfare is asking animal lovers to take part in a Fundraiser Quiz for the charity on Saturday, June 13th.

Local businesses have donated some brilliant prizes, with vouchers up for grabs from Perry Street Market Cafe, O’Reilly’s Fish and Chips, Messy Buns and a beauty hamper worth €180 donated by Murphy’s Pharmacy in Midleton so it’s a fun excuse to pour a glass of wine or pop the kettle on and settle in for a few hours of friendly competition for an excellent cause.

Here’s how it works: Hosted by Damien Sreenan Entertainment, the quiz will involve four rounds of general knowledge and the faster you answer, the more points you get.

To play all you will need is YouTube on a TV, Sky box, laptop or any device that you can stream it on. You submit your answers via a link on your phone.

“If you are playing as a family you only need one ticket per household. Once you buy your ticket you will be sent a confirmation email and then another email with all the details you need,” says Damien.

Tickets are €10 and available here.
