Tom Barry’s pizzeria is back (and they’re giving FREE PIZZA to healthcare workers)

This is lovely gesture.
Their Barrack Street beer garden might be closed for the foreseeable future, but Tom Barry’s is firing up the pizza ovens for delivery and collection and they’re kicking things off with a very kind reward for Cork’s frontline healthcare workers.
From 5pm until 9pm today, healthcare staff can drop in and show their employee ID to get a free pizza at Tom Barry’s – no strings attached.

The team will be making their delicious wood-fired pies for the public too. Social distancing is in place at the Barrack Street entrance for walk-ins and you can also order your pie on Deliveroo for doorstep service after 6pm here.
If you’d like to put in an order for collection, call 021 431 8498.
Ours is a Pinturichio; mozzarella, rocket, bresaola, parmesan, olive oil and a lemon wedge.
