The toughest part is getting started.

If you’re looking for a clever way to kick start your autumn fitness goals, the best way is to enlist some willing friends and dive in together.

Fota Island Resort’s two top teams will be joining forces to host the Fota Fitness Mega Bootcamp this October. A one-day calorie-torching extravaganza in the gorgeous grounds of the hotel, it’s the ideal way to have some fun while letting off some steam in the great outdoors.

The Fota Island Fitness and Fota Island Adventure crews have put together a fun and challenging bootcamp, taking place at Fota Adventure on Saturday 19th October, 2019 from 10am until 1pm.

Come rain or shine, participants over the age of 18 will be testing their fitness levels with a mixture of body weight, resistance and team work exercises.

The fun begins with a group warm-up, after which participants will be split up into designated groups and put through their paces by the Fota Fitness Team and Fota Adventure ‘Drill Sergeants’.

After a morning packed with dynamic fitness and exercise, Mega Bootcampers will take part in a group cool-down before enjoying some light refreshments to help refuel the body after a morning of activities.

Ideal for friends or colleagues, tickets for the Mega Bootcamp at Fota Island Resort cost €27.50 per person and can be booked here. Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential, for more information contact fitness@fotaisland.ie or call 021 4673131.
